    Johnnie launches Boden with a mail-
    order catalogue containing just eight
    products, hand-drawn on his kitchen
    table in West London.

  • Let’s get digital

    Despite fears that the internet might
    be a ‘passing fad’, Johnnie takes
    Boden online. Word quickly gets out
    and lots of people start buying our
    stuff.

  • Hello America, how do you do?

    We bring our British style to the US
    and receive a very warm welcome.
    Mini Boden proves to be a big hit
    across the pond.

  • Boden turns 30

    We hold a month of events to
    celebrate the fact that we’re now a
    global brand that’s bringing joy to
    millions. And they said it would never
    work…

  • All aboard please

    We restore Mabel, a 1968 London
    Routemaster bus, in our signature
    pink and green stripes. She’s now our
    brand ambassador in the US.

  • Our first US store opens

    We open our first bricks and mortar
    store at Avalon. We can’t wait to
    share happiness you can wear with
    the women of Atlanta.

Taking care of our team at Boden

With our strategy to ‘grow our business, grow our people’ in mind, we’re nurturing our team with a calendar of initiatives that aims to motivate and inspire. Learning and development is a key focus and we’re proud to offer a truly competitive (and ever-growing) library of opportunities for employees at every level.

We want our team members to feel as supported as possible, so we offer a variety of nuanced channels for sharing concerns and feedback, including an Employee Forum, a dedicated ‘Belonging at Boden’ D&I team, and a bi-annual engagement survey.
