How do I return my order?

Returns are free for orders placed within the UK. To return an item, follow these simple steps:

1. Register your return online

  • Visit our online returns partner, ZigZag, to register your return and create your returns label.

  • Enter your order number and postcode or email address to identify your order.


2. Select items to return

  • Tick the item(s) you wish to return from your order list and select a return reason for each.



3. Choose your return method

  • Select your preferred method from the carrier list; such as drop-off at stores or lockers, or a home collection.

  • Most carriers provide a unique scannable QR code for drop off, while some may require you to print a label at home.

  • Your label or code will be emailed to you, once your return has been registered.

How do I return an order from outside of the UK?

Free returns are not currently available outside of the UK, but the good news is we’ve made returns easier and cheaper through our partner Zigzag.

 

Check below for how to return via ZigZag, unless you placed your order via Global-e (order numbers begging with GE) as, in this case, you’ll want to head over to their returns portal
instead.

How do I return through Zigzag?

  1. Enter your order number and postcode or email.
  2. Select the item/s you’re returning, as well as the reason.
  3. Select your return method and drop off location (a printer may be required).
  4. Complete payment - in your local currency.
  5. You will receive an email with your label attached, along with instructions.
  6. Ensure that you remove any old address labels and barcodes.

    Please allow up to 14 days for your returned parcel to reach us. We’ll send you an email once your refund has been processed.

What's your returns policy?

Returns are free within the UK, and our returns policy is for orders made directly through Boden. If you return an item within 90-days of receipt in its original condition, we’ll refund the amount you paid for the item.

For sale items, you have 14 days to notify us of the return by registering the return with our online returns partner. After notifying us of this return, you have another 14 days to return your items, in its original condition.

If you return an item from an order that has an outstanding pre-order, the cost of the outstanding item(s) may be deducted from your refund. The remaining balance will be refunded to your original form of payment.

The following are non-refundable:

  • Swimwear, if the hygiene strips have been removed.
  • Earrings, if the internal packaging seal has been broken.

What's your 365-day Quality Guarantee?

After our standard 90-day return period, or 14 days for sale items, you can return anything that does not meet our quality standards up until one year after your order arrived for account credit. With faulty items, you’ll have the options below:

  • Within 6 months – we’ll refund your item and you're welcome to place a new order (subject to availability).
  • From 6-12 months – we’ll credit your Boden account for the amount paid. Account credit can be used on any future order, including sale items, and has no expiry date.

If you originally purchased with a discount or offer, we will adjust the refund accordingly.

I don’t have a printer or device, how do I return my item?

You can take your returns to an EVRi ParcelShop - all you need is your order number (beginning with the letter ‘U’).

EVRi ParcelShop

  • Check the location of your nearest store here.
  • Head over to the returns console and follow the instructions on the screen, selecting ‘I don’t have a QR code’.
  • Continue to follow the instructions to print a label.
  • Attach the label securely to your returns parcel, ensuring that any old address labels are removed, or old barcodes are covered.
  • Hand your returns over to a shop assistant and you’ll be given a receipt.


    Please allow up to 14 days for your returned parcel to reach us. We’ll send you an email as soon as your refund has been processed.

Do you offer exchanges?

We don’t offer exchanges, but there’s no need to worry. Simply return your item(s) for a refund and place a new order online, where you can see up-to-date stock and delivery information. To find more details about returning items, take a look at ‘How do I return my order?’ and our returns policy.

How long will my refund take to process?

Returned parcels can take up to 14 days to reach us from the date they’re sent back. Keep an eye out for your return notification emails to stay in the loop and, don’t worry, as we’ll pop you an email when your return is completed. Any refund will appear in your account within 5 working days from the date it was processed.

If you don’t hear from us within 14 days of sending your items back, please contact us with your order number and the details about which items you returned. Our friendly advisors will then see what they can do for you.

Can I return more than one order in a parcel?

Please return one order at a time. Use our online returns portal to create free, easy and convenient returns.

How do I track my return?

If you’ve returned your parcel via our Returns Hub, you can track your return by clicking on the link in your email. Don’t forget to check your junk folder if you’ve not received an e-mail and add us to your safe sender list. Alternatively, enter your order number and postcode or email address here.

It may take a day or two from posting your parcel for the first update to show. No need to worry though, as we’ll pop you an email when your return has been processed.

Returns can take up to 14 days to be completed, and we’ll send an email as soon as we’ve processed your item(s).

How do I return to a concession?

Items bought from a Boden concession within John Lewis stores, on johnlewis.com and Next Label (and other third parties), can only be returned to one of their stores, or via their online returns channel. If you need further details, you can check their website.

Returning via Waitrose*:
If you are returning via a Waitrose store, please ask for a receipt. There are a small number of Waitrose stores that cannot accept Boden returns, which are listed below:

  • Waitrose Kings Cross Station (Euston Rd, Kings Cross, London N1C 4AP)
  • Waitrose Kingston
  • Waitrose Horsham
  • Waitrose Ipswich (Crane Blvd, Ipswich IP3 9SQ)

How do I return a gift that I received?

If you have received a gift from Boden that’s not your cup of tea, please contact us with your order number to hand (this can be found on the address label), and we will be happy to look into this further. Just so you know, we will need to keep the ‘gift giver’ informed.

Will I lose my offer if I return an item?

Offers are applied to each item, so any discount received will still apply to the items you keep. Any items returned will be refunded at what you paid for the item (after discount), as per our returns policy. Take a look at your offer terms & conditions for more information.

Can I send an item in for repair?

We have temporarily stopped offering our Care Repair and Re-wear service. Check back soon!
